the needle.
I work entirely custom, and I take a small number of bookings at a time on purpose. The drawing is genuinely most of the work. A piece designed properly for your body and your placement is the difference between a tattoo you love now and one you still love in fifteen years.
Fine line has a bit of a reputation for going blurry, and it does, when it’s drawn without accounting for the fact that skin spreads ink over decades. So most of what I'm doing at the design stage is quietly making decisions you won’t notice until 2040. That's the fun bit, honestly.

Send me your idea
Fill in the booking form with whatever you've got so far. Subject, roughly where on your body, rough size, and any pictures that are pointing you in the right direction. Honestly, half an idea is completely fine. Someone once sent me "a plant, on my arm, not too girly" and it turned into one of my favourite pieces.

We chat it through
Fifteen minutes, either at the studio or on a call, whichever is easier for you. We'll talk about whether it works at the size and spot you want, what it'll look like in ten years, and what it'll cost. If I'm not the right artist for it, I'll say so and point you toward someone who is. No hard feelings ever.

I draw it up
I'll design it and send it over before your appointment so there are no surprises. One round of changes is included and genuinely expected, so please speak up if something isn't quite right. It's your body! A small deposit holds your date and comes off the final price.

The fun part
Private studio, no walk-ins, no audience. Eat a proper meal first and bring something to keep you busy. We stop whenever you need to stop, as often as you like. You'll leave wrapped up with aftercare notes written for your specific piece, not a photocopied sheet.

“I sent Emma a chaotic mood board and a paragraph about poisonous plants and she came back with something better than what was in my head. She redrew the whole thing freehand on my arm when the first stencil didn't sit right, which must have cost her forty minutes she wasn't charging me for. I work out of Dear Vincent Studio, a lovely private appointment-only studio on Lakeshore Road East in Port Credit, Mississauga. No walk-ins and no audience. It’s one room, one artist, and whatever you feel like listening to.
It’s a ten minute walk from Port Credit GO, twenty minutes from downtown Mississauga, and about half an hour from downtown Toronto on the Lakeshore West line. There’s street parking on Lakeshore plus the municipal lot behind the building.
